Mobil Delvac Modern 15W-40 Super Defense is a high-performance diesel engine oil formulated to provide excellent lubrication and reliable protection for modern and older diesel engines. Its advanced formulation helps promote long engine life while delivering dependable performance across a wide range of operating conditions.

Recommended by ExxonMobil for a broad range of industries, applications, and mixed-fleet operations, this engine oil meets or exceeds the requirements of major European, American, and Japanese engine manufacturers.

It is engineered to deliver outstanding performance in both modern low-emission diesel engines and older diesel engines operating on low- or high-sulfur fuel. The formulation combines high-performance base oils with an advanced additive system to provide excellent control of soot-related oil thickening and high-temperature deposits, together with strong resistance to oxidation and corrosion.

Mobil Delvac Modern 15W-40 Super Defense is fully compatible with Mobil Delvac MX 15W-40 and may be used as a replacement where the applicable specifications and viscosity requirements are met.

*Biodiesel compatibility is based on CEC L-109-14, with the test modified using palm B100, meeting the limits specified in ACEA E7-22.

ADVANCED ENGINE PROTECTION

Modern high-output, low-emission diesel engines place significantly greater demands on engine lubricants. Tighter engine designs reduce oil consumption and therefore reduce the amount of fresh oil available to replenish depleted additives.
Higher-positioned piston fire rings bring the lubricant film closer to the combustion chamber, where increased temperatures create greater thermal stress on the oil. Higher fuel-injection pressures and retarded injection timing improve combustion efficiency but can also increase engine temperatures and soot loading.Mobil Delvac Modern 15W-40 Super Defence is formulated with high-performance base oils and a balanced additive system to provide reliable engine
