Mobil Delvac Modern 15W-40 Super Defense is an extra-high-performance diesel engine oil formulated to provide excellent lubrication and reliable protection for modern diesel engines, helping promote long engine life and dependable performance. The product meets or exceeds the requirements of major European and American engine manufacturers and is recommended by ExxonMobil for use across a wide range of industries, applications, and mixed-fleet operations.

This advanced engine oil delivers outstanding performance in both modern, demanding low-emission diesel engines and older diesel engines operating on low- or high-sulfur fuels. Mobil Delvac Modern 15W-40 Super Defense is also biodiesel compatible* and combines high-performance base oils with an advanced additive system to provide excellent control of oil thickening caused by soot accumulation and high operating temperatures.

Its formulation also provides outstanding resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and high-temperature deposits, helping maintain engine cleanliness and lubricant performance throughout the service interval.

Mobil Delvac Modern 15W-40 Super Defense is fully compatible with Mobil Delvac MX 15W-40 and can be used as a replacement where the applicable manufacturer specifications and viscosity requirements are met.
Biodiesel compatibility is based on CEC L-109-14, with the test modified using palm B100, and meets the limits specified in ACEA E7-22.
